Concept Development

I had an epiphany! On the walk to school it became so obvious... the rose garden!! I go past it every morning, and look to see all the amazing colours while the flowers are opening. This made so much sense. While it has been a permanent fixture in my life, the roses are also a perfect example of a life journey. I captured all the amazing colours that caught my eye, at all different stages of life... Buds, bulbs, half open flowers, and full grown flowers. I ignored the dead flowers... as I am nowhere near the end of my journey. The roses represent me in my environment as I have grown and changed. They have always been there on my walk to school, in a way, they have watched me grow just as I have watched them! Here are some of my favourites (I took far too many to put them all on the blog)
